1000 acres of max land use development abutting 200′ wide road connecting Chandigarh International Airport
IMPORTANT
1. The price for corner plot shall be 5% extra.
2. The price for plot facing park (100% frontage) shall be 5% extra.
3. In case both the above (1 & 2)apply, the price shall be 10% extra.
4. 5% rebate on the price shall be given to applicants under physicaly handicapped category.
5. Reservation of plots for reserved categories shall be maintained as per punjab Government Policy.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. 10% of the plot price is to be deposited along with the application.
2. 15 % of the plot price is payable within 30 days from the date of issueof Latter of intent (LOI).
3. 5% price + extraprice (on account of corner or facing park or both + additionalprice, if any) is payable at the time of     delivery of possession.
4. Remaining 70% would be payable as per the payment plans given aside (Plan A, B & C).

Payment Plans
Plan A: Â Â If the allottee deposits the balance 70% price in lump sum within 60days of the date of allocation letter/Letter of intent, 10% rebate shall be allowed.
Plan B: Â Â Â Â Allotment are entitled to pay 70% of the amount without interest in seven bi-monthly equated installment from the date of issue allocation letter/Letter on Intent.
Plan C:      Allottees are entittled to Pay 70%of the amount along with interest @ 10% p.a. payable half yearly, in 7 half yearly instalments from the date of  allocation letter/Letter on Intent.
Note: If an allottes under plans B & C make the payment in lump sum at any time, rebate@5% shall be allowed on the balance outstandingprincipal amount.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Must be a citizen of India.
2. Must have atlained the age of majority i.e. 18 yearsas on date of submission od application.
3. The applicant himself/herself or any member of his/her family should not own any residential plot/house/flat alloted by any Government Agency at SAS Nagar. This means that the person who has purchased plot/flat/house by way auction or re-sale is eligible for applying the plot in this scheme. The family means husband, wife and minor children (less than 18 years of age).
HOW TO APPLY
affix a self attested passport size photograph in the application form attached with brouchure and the same should be submitted to any of the banks mentioned below, either in person or by post on or before th closing date. Application should be accompanied with earnest monry in the form of banker’s cheque/pay order/draft in favor of Estate Officer, GMADA, Mohali payable at the station where the application is sought to be submitted. Application found incomplete or defective in any respect or not duly signed by the applicant is liable to be rejected.
NOTICE
Since all the applications are being received in the designated banks, no application should be sent by post or otherwise to GMADA’s office. Such applications will not be  included in the draw.
Refund of Earnest mMoney
Unsuccessful applicants shall be refunded their earnest money within 90 days from the date of draw.

Yes, good opportunity to get plot even if the rate is quite stiff. But GMADA has done great disservice by not allowing those who have flats in mohali. In interest of the society, GMADA must allow all those who do not have a plot in Mohali, even if they have a flat.Please take up this issue.

Hi I think this is a wonderful place to live in, but i am disappointed with the high rates set by the govt.
Usually the govt offer plots at a decent price. But these plots appear to be very expensive. 12000/sq yard is quite a lot being a govt draw allotment scheme.
Do you know what is the rate otherwise in this area?
I bet you will be able to get these plots on re sale at about 12500 or so anyways.

Possible date of draw is the second week of oct 2010. Approx. four lakhs number of applications have been received so far. At present rate of surrounding areas is 20000 per sq yard.

GMADA , is fooling everyone , when the draws are over , why are they not returning our money. They said after draw result money will come directly to bank through ECS , but they are fooling all unsuccessful candidates. It is my appeal to higher authorities to look into the matter seriously , so that this appeal falls on deaf ears, and they return our refunds immediately, otherwise we will suffer from interest burden
GMADA, is unjust in withholding the application money of unsuccessful applicants even after the draw for such a long time. There is no point in witholding the money of unsucessful applicant moresoever when the money was to be reverted back through ECS.The attitute of authority is not pragmatic or progressive.
