Unitech promoters hike stake

NEW DELHI: The promoters of real estate major Unitech increased their stake to 48.6% upon conversion of warrants into equity. Ramesh Chandra and his sons had pumped R380 crore into the company in December to convert the last tranche of warrants held by them into equity, which increased their combined stakeholding. Unitech’s shares fell by 5% and the scrip closed at R61.80, compared to the close of R65.05.  Source>>>
