MCD seals 47 properties

New Delhi: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) razed illegal portions of 47 properties in different parts of Delhi on Thursday.
Twelve properties in south zone,24 in Najafgarh,eight in Rohini and four in Civil Lines zone faced sealing and demolition action.Properties in Vasant Kunj,Safdarjung Enclave,Sangam Vihar,Pitampura,Rohini Sector-15 and other adjoining areas faced the action.
Builders start construction without getting the building plan sanctioned from the civic agency and dupe innocent buyers.MCD will be intensifying the sealing drive,especially in the south zone,and demolish illegal portions at ongoing construction stage.The ceiling and roof slabs have been punctured and the properties are left in inhabitant state.The action was taken with the help of local police. The sealing and demolition action will continue on Friday also. Properties in Freedom Fighter colony,Sangam Vihar and Chattarpur extension will face MCD action.  Source>>>
